For Amsterdam Noord based restaurant and hotspot we designed an insence paper bouklet. Based on the well known papier 'd Armènie. This was called Papier MurMur.

Together with sound artist Harp't Hart and biologist Maarten Erich from the embassy of the North Sea, Frank designed an installation that reflected on the nature of bulk goods in the harbour of Amsterdam. Open Air installaiton, spreading scents of diesel, green leaf, cacao and orange juice. The installation was placed on the border between artist enclave Ruigoord and the harbour of Amsterdam.

For Het Fries Museum, Frank designed an odor wheel performance. In a seance setup participants could join in to evoke their own Proustian Memories. From eau de cologne to diesel and a lot more.

In the exhibition 'Een Lekkere Dood' Frank collaborated with culinary ethnologist Carolina Verhoeven creating scents associated with mourning. The five bottles contained the scents of: bitterness, woood, earth, consolation, heaven

As an addition to the first exhibition of the films by artist Sarah Cameron Sunde in Brooklyn NY, Frank designed a scent to go along with watching the extended video installation of 6 lengthly videos of the artist standing in waters all over the world. The scent helped the audience to be more in the situation and stay longer with the video works.

Part of an artist in residence at Theatre Mitu

The first (and probably last) odorama film is called Polyester. I is a film about the downfall of an urban house wife, played by dragqueen Divine. The film was written and directed by John Waters. A scratch and sniff card with 10 smells was handed out to the moviegoers and was available for homeviewers when it aired on television. Frank recreated the smells and presented them during the screening of the film when it was shown as part of the Altered States Festival.
